The Gift of Literacy is an annual gift you can make at any time that allows the Literacy Council to continue to provide programs and services at multiple locations throughout Fort Bend County. Your contributions enable our students and their families to overcome barriers and thrive in the community. 

Through your support, he adult learners improve their English language skills, obtain their GED or prepare for their US Citizenship interview. The Literacy Council provides a path to job improvement, improved health and education.

How secure is my personal information? The Literacy Council of Fort Bend County will not sell or give any personal information to third parties.  Your online donation is secure as the security of your personal information is very important to us.

How can I get a receipt for my donation? The Literacy Council of Fort Bend County will provide a receipt for tax purposes.  Online donors receive an automatic email receipt.  Donations sent by mail will receive a printed acknowledgement of the donation.

Can I make my donation in honor or in memory of someone? Yes.  If making your donation online, complete the section at the bottom of the donation page.  Or when mailing, include the honorary or memorial tribute and to whom you would like acknowledgement sent to.
